Boise Area Horse Property

Boise is still home to a few parcels large enough to accommodate horses and other large animals. As you move farther west in the Treasure Valley, land becomes less expensive and for the most part, more rural. The Boise Foothills have a few very large parcels (10-40 acres) and these highlands extend west into Eagle and Star. If flatter, less expensive land is more to your liking, head to Meridian where you can still fit a horse or two onto oversized lots in newer planned communities. Or head eight miles south of the I-84 Freeway to Kuna where working farms and ranches mix with equestrian estates and hobby farms. Perhaps you care a lot more about the barn than the house! Live in your 5th wheel while your dream ranchette is being built. Fancy an evening ride from the barn onto public land and into the sunset?
